Obituary of Gloria Jeanette Regan

Tribute Gloria Jeanette Regan November 2, 1938 – January 4, 2023 Gloria was born in Chicago, IL to John and Sophie (Popec) Knopsnyder. She was the older sister to Ron and Packy. She loved growing up in the city and enjoyed all the culture and wonder it offered. It was there, while working at the First National Bank of Chicago, that she met the love of her life, Don. They married in 1960 and later had two children Don and Janet. In 1981 the family left the cold Illinois weather behind for the desert sun of Arizona. It took almost another 20 years for Gloria to adapt to the heat but she finally came to love it and call it home. After retiring in 2004 from her work in medical insurance, she was able to put her creative talents to use in the pottery studio. She loved her family very much and loved being a grandmother to her three granddaughters Sarah, Annie and Katie. She will be remembered as someone who persevered through many of life’s adversities, loved to chat with all people and was always up for a trip to Vegas! Although her last seven years on this earth were spent in Colorado her heart was always with her husband Don who she missed so much. We rejoice that they are together again in Heaven!
