Obituary of Michael Robert Millsap

Tribute Beloved son, husband and father, Michael Robert Millsap, 49, was unexpectedly taken from us on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. Michael was born to Janity (Mike) Hausman and James Millsap on August 9, 1973. He married the love of his life Alexandra Boese, on November 8, 2008, they have two amazing daughters, whom he adored: his budding equestrian Makayla Michelle & his clever ray of sunshine Charli Jane (Charli Bear). He loved owning On Target Roofing. In his free time you could find him outdoors, boating, wake surfing, teaching anyone how to wake surf, fishing, hunting, snowboarding, heckling his friends, crying about the Broncos, adventuring with Alex and spending time with family & friends. He was a loving man and touched many lives. His “fun factor” was contagious and may the best parts of him live on in those who knew him. Lovingly remembered by his parents; sister, Michelle “Shelle” (Rick) Scheuring, their five children, Josh (Katie), Emily(Jeff) Riley; Collin, Caitlin and Anna Scheuring; in-laws Gisela & Kurt Boese; great uncle to Zoey, Ava Grace and Lilo, adopted uncle to the Mullenix (Doug & Julynn) and Hausman (Rick & Katy) families. A special mention to Mike’s brother from another mother Josh Scheuring, who was his partner in crime…and Mike (Jan) Hausman who came to know and love Mike later in life. And lastly, too many friends to name, but Brandon, Bucky and Ike were amongst his dearest buds. In lieu of flowers the family asks any donations be made to the Berthoud Habitat for Humanity, or Makayla & Charli’s 529 plans. A celebration of Michael’s life will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Grace Place in Berthoud.
