Obituary of William Francis Scott

William Francis Scott (Grampy) passed away at the age of 81.

 

Loving and dedicated husband to Priscilla for fifty years, William is survived by his five children,Tommy, Lenny, Nikki, Chaning, and Brian, as well as seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  

 

Originally from Illinois, William spent many years in northern California and Virginia, before settling in the Boulder, Colorado area to be near his children. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Longmont. 

 

William was a talented Master Carpenter, avid sports fan, active member of his church and friend to so many. He was always there for his family and friends. He led by example. Quiet, playful, strong, steady and most of all, loving and kind. Bill (aka Grampy) never missed an opportunity to root for his children at the family’s life events, sporting activities, dance and theatre shows, or use his tremendous carpentry skills to help build a farm, a theatre, or a home.

 

A husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and loving friend. He will be dearly missed.

 

He was the best of the best!
