Obituary of Jerome "Jerry" Thomas Dieringer

Jerome (Jerry) Thomas Dieringer passed away on May 23, 2023. He was born April 26, 1930, to Matthew and Emily Dieringer in Milwaukee, WI. He attended St. Mary’s Elementary and Messmer High School in Milwaukee. He then earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting at Denver University in 1970 and his master’s degree from D.U. in 1975. He was employed by IBM for 24 years.

Jerry enjoyed woodworking, golfing, hiking, bicycling, and crossword puzzles. He and his wife, Jan, hiked and toured with Elderhostel for 27 trips, mostly to National Parks.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Janice, daughter Amy, and son-in-law Tim Menefee, and a brother James.

The family is planning a celebration of life for a later date.
